and insurers on some of the largest claims in recent years. Where
the case has an international aspect, our lawyers are also
experienced in managing the dispute resolution process
abroad.
We advise on claims/disputes
relating to/arising from:
- the extent of the assets and liabilities transferred;
- completion accounts (and the use of effective expert
determination in this area);
- warranties and indemnities (including tax and environment);
- the value of companies/businesses;
- corporate fundraising and restructuring; and
- employment and pensions.
We also advise on disputes arising
during transactions (e.g. over the use of confidential
information), and concerning the role of advisers, share dealings,
and regulatory requirements such as the Takeover Code and listing
requirements.
