Andrew Blair is a partner in the firm's professional and financial disputes team.  He specialises in insurance and professional indemnity litigation, particularly in relation to solicitors and insurance intermediaries.

 

Since arriving at the firm in 1990, Andrew has gained extensive experience in advising both solicitors and their insurers on the whole range of possible claims which can be brought against solicitors.

 

He also advises insurance brokers, accountants, surveyors and other property professionals, and their insurers, in relation to professional liability claims and specific risk management issues faced by the professions.

 

Andrew has an active interest in mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) and has successfully resolved a number of disputes using ADR. He is recommended in Chambers & Partners, 2010.
