On 1 May 2007, in common with many other leading law firms, the practice of Barlow Lyde & Gilbert in London and Singapore transferred to Barlow Lyde & Gilbert LLP, a limited liability partnership. Following local regulatory clearance the practice of Barlow Lyde & Gilbert in Shanghai will also be transferred to Barlow Lyde & Gilbert LLP. A separate but affiliated partnership known as Barlow Lyde & Gilbert operates in Hong Kong.
