Barlow Lyde & Gilbert LLP ("BLG") has been named the best insurance law firm in Europe in Reaction magazine's annual legal survey. 

The survey asked respondents - who mainly consisted of in-house counsel at insurers, reinsurers, and brokers - to give their views on legal disputes and law firms in the insurance and reinsurance markets.

BLG was named the overall favourite in Europe, and was highly commended for its work in the Asia-Pacific and Middle East.

BLG also topped the reinsurance and insolvency categories, and was commended in the fields of corporate contracts, litigation/dispute management, and policy drafting.

This is the third consecutive year that BLG has been named the best European law firm for insurance by the London Market.
