This article introduces oil, gas and services companies to hydrocarbon exploration opportunities in Greenland. It considers the Greenlandic regulatory regime and the upcoming exploration and exploitation licensing rounds for Northeast Greenland (the Greenland Sea Area) in 2012/13.
