On 1 May 2007, the practice of Barlow Lyde & Gilbert in London and Singapore transferred to Barlow Lyde & Gilbert LLP, a limited liability partnership and on 20 November 2009, following local regulatory clearance, the practice of Barlow Lyde & Gilbert in Shanghai also transferred to Barlow Lyde & Gilbert LLP. A separate but affiliated partnership known as Barlow Lyde & Gilbert, operates in Hong Kong and São Paulo.
