Barlow Lyde & Gilbert LLP
("BLG") has been named ‘one to watch’ in the Best Companies to Work
for Guide 2009.
The award is based on the Best
Companies Index score, which is designed to measure employee
engagement by analysing their responses to 70 questions across the
following eight factors: ‘Leadership’, ‘Well Being’, ‘My Manager’,
‘My Team’, ‘My Company’, ‘Personal Growth’, ‘Giving Something
Back’, and ‘Fair Deal’.
Jonathan Austin, founder and CEO of
Best Companies, said: "I would like to congratulate BLG on its
achievement. Our role at Best Companies is to set a rigorous
benchmark so that organisations can become even better employers.
This year it is encouraging to see that the number of companies
entering the accreditation scheme for excellence in workplace
engagement has grown by over twenty per cent."
BLG senior partner Simon Konsta
said: "We are delighted to have been recognised as ‘one to watch’
in the Best Companies Guide, the only guide based entirely on
employee feedback. We are entirely committed to providing a
rewarding, stimulating, and flexible work environment to our staff
and we value their feedback immensely. We are very pleased that our
employees rate BLG as a great place to work."
